This year at Material Wit we’ve found inspiration in the cyclical aspects of nature. We’ve chosen a theme related to this inspiration for each month. The theme is there to guide us in our visual merchandising, product offerings and related promotions. It’s also a way for us to show the intention behind our choices as a company. We hope you’ll follow along in this journey of thought, feeling and action within the Material Wit community.

RENEWAL
At first light…
The first days of spring bring renewal. Suddenly everything is in a bustle to thrive. Buds swell, birds celebrate their song, we are met with a medley of sun and rain. Fresh, subtle newness everywhere in soft tones like the first petal opening and also the breaking dawn. Hopes lifted, we are soothed and delighted in Spring.
This month we celebrate the new season with a surge of energy and potential. Our minds go to the garden, clearing clutter and hatching plans. On Orcas Island people come out of the woodwork, mingle and collaborate. We are all up to something, projects abound.
The jewelry studio is bustling with designing and prototyping of future offerings. Also it’s time to invest in some new equipment. This advanced tooling will allow our studio to create bespoke pieces and enhance the handmade nature of Material Wit jewelry. We’ll have greater control of our production from start to finish enabling a more sustainable process. We’ll share more on our socials so please do follow along.
